They want to eat his lunch. What should I tell him to do? I don't pack him anything special.

tell the teacher what is going on behind the scenes, she may notknow. then the teacher will be alert to it and answer for your son... who may at his young age not know how to handle it.

Unfortunately a lfew of the kids come from homes that are very low income and I think the kids parents can't afford to pack them a proper lunch. There are no school lunches so I think some of the kids R"LZ are hungry. I don't mind if DS shares a little food, in fact I can pack him extra, but I don't want him eating from other people for kashrus issues.

I think that makes Shayna's advice all the more appropriate. The teacher should be able to tell you if these threats are coming from children who are truly hungry. If so, maybe you could send an extra sandwich that the teacher could direct to the appropriate lunchbox.

Israeli gans have a rule against exchanging foods because of kashrut. It is a good policy that works.
