I would like to get one of the Kosher By Design books, but I don't know which one. I really need it mostly for Shabbos food - which one would you recommend?

The green one its the first one, and the pink entertaining one. If I had to choose I would prob go with the green one.

I have the original, the entertaining one, the teens and twenty-somethings and the kids one. I use the kids book the most.

I only have the kids and teen one and I don't care for either of them. I don't like them because so many of the recipes call for ready made foods. Besides that I can't get a lot of them, I like to make from scratch. Do the other ones also do that, or just the kids one?

I use them all. I would recommend stating with the first.

Yo'ma-I dont have the 2 you mentioned, and the ones I use do not call for ready made foods-at least not the recipes I usually use.

I had the first one and used it so infrequently that I gave it away.

I think I mostly use the first one, Lightens Up, and Teens and 20's.
Yo'ma, some recipes in the Teens and 20's cookbook call for store-bought ingredients, but I use many from there without.
I don't use Short On Time often because it calls for store-bought ingredients that I don't use, and I like to make my food from scratch.

I found that the green one (the first one) was the most original and easiest recipes.

THe rest are either too patchkey or really not original or use crazy ingredients that are hard to find.

thank you so much for all your input! I really appreciate it. I like easy recipes and don't like to use american ready-made ingredients too much b/c they're expensive here, so it looks like the original kbd is what I'm going to get the most out of. Thank you so much!
