I don't know where you should buy anything, but it's very normal for a 9 month old girl to wear a dress for a wedding even if she can't walk. Since it's the summer and if you decide to get her a dress, you should get one that comes with something to cover the diaper. I don't know what they're called. Mazal Tov!!

I have the same question. I am thinking of not taking her at all?

What does a dress have to do with walking? My baby has been wearing dresses since birth. Most dresses for infants come with a matching panty. We got some beautiful ones as gifts from Gap.

burlington coat factory often has pretty dresses/outfits for cheap. when my DD was little and needed a wedding outfit, I got her 1 dress at a store in the mall that sells flower girl type stuff, and then a backup outfit from burlington in case she messed the nice one up. the backup was a top and pants in the same color that were very fancy, just not in the same league as the dress.

any white/cream/pink really dressy outfit with frilly socks would work. or, if you have a color scheme ,you could go with that.
to the second amother, I wouldn't take her along at all if it were my baby for a number of reasons.
1. it would interfere with her schedule
2. the noise level can be dangerous for her ears
3. I don't want to have to worry about her during the wedding
4. plus, she wont even remember it or feel bad if she misses it.
but I understand if someone wants to take their baby for the pictures or for the out of town bubby to see her einekle. alternatively, you can take her for pictures and send her home with someone to a babysitter for the rest of the night.
mazel tov to you both!!!

how close are you to the baalei simcha? if it's your brother's wedding or something like that I'd deck her out in the prettiest baby gown I could find, if it's a bit more removed than that then a fancy dress would be perfect, walking or not.

well if it's your sister's wedding you've got to go all out! you need to find something on-line or you've hit the brick and mortar stores as well?
and don't skip on the accessories, they can really make the outfit. A giant flower headband, bedazzled pacifier, a fancy bracelet, etc. and she'll be the belle of the ball!
