My mom says she has it, for her internet, and I'm not sure exactly what she means, b/c she has AOl.
Has anyone ever heard of that?

I have it, its cox.net, actually, I believe.
Is your mother in California?
Cox is a cable service. WE have them for our telephone as well.
I actually use aol and gmail but cox is our carrier.

Also, for your mom, and any other aol users, if you have dsl or cable and AOL, then aol becomes free. you have to ask aol about it. Its called "bring your own access". You can still use the aol software, but you don't dial into aol, or use aol broadband, you use your cable or dsl to access the internet.
Its pretty neat.
