Shoprite is crabby about things like cholov yisrael milk (they wouldn't give it to me because they only stock half gallons and my check said a gallon. I asked to talk to the managers and they gave me the same mishigas. Landaus not only are they fully aware that 1 gallon = 2 half gallons, they also fargin if it goes a few cents over and just swallow the few cents' expense.) and I don't think they have the kosher baby food meats.

Shoprite takes FOREVER. They have to call a manager to the checkout to process WIC.

my foodstamp lady knew about kosher food and specifically ordered the 1/2 gallon milk for me. Now that I hear about your problem I should thank her!!
I don't really understand how it works though.
In the frum grocery will they let you buy kedem grape juice or it's too expensive? It's the only juice we buy in this house.
Can you buy cholent beans with the beans check?
as you can see I never did this.

I found that in the frum grocery (I usually use goldbergs or landuas) they are much more easy going about certain wic things.
For example there is a certain frozen veg. I always buy with my wic cheque and in shoprite they wouldn't let me buy it but in jewish store they have it under wic.
SHoprite also takes ages.
