I have a wedding coming up, and found beautiful gowns in david's bridal. it's not a typical color, and the gowns need shells for underneath them. do you have any experiencing dying a shell?
how would I get it to the exact shade that I need? how do I do this?
tia!

my friend did this. You have to buy the shell in a specific store and send it to Manhattan. You also have to give in a sample of the dress so they can match the color.
Let me know if you want me to ask my friend for the number

Kiki Riki is a company name of shells.
Yes, I dyed a shell, it was a white lycra shell from the Shell Station. Someone in Flatbush did it. (I think there are threads here.) I gave a small swatch of the color, it was about $70 IIRC and it took a couple of days. They do not guarantee the color but I was very happy.
