I am trying to make a photo board book with my family pictures I took with my own camera, similar to the ones newlyweds make, a master album. I tried snapfish, but their pages are soft, like a magazine.
Where can I do it online myself?

The board books I believe are called memory books. I think those you can only order through certain sites and they are quite costly. Personally, I made a lot of photo books through Winkflash. They currently have a special 100 pages starting at 16.99.

Mpix does them, but they're not cheap. (meaning they generally have reasonable prices, but that product is expensive). You would also have to lay it out yourself in photoshop or similar program before uploading to order, or just do one photo per page.

blurb.com. I know you can do hardcover, but not sure if they do board books.

Those are more practical in price. Maybe I'll try them one day. I did see in the video that the pages are somewhat bendable, so it's not quite like a wedding album - but it looks like a great sturdy book for the price.

I found this site when doing a google search. How can I know if they are reliable and they sell quality products? Because they do seem to sell what I am looking for.

Artscows photo quality is pretty good.
For the quality of the book; The pages of that book are slightly thinner than the regular master. But they look professional too.
The only issue I saw on that book was that the cover had a washed out look. I think if you would do a light color then it would look fine.

Take a look at the deluxe books - the pages are stiffer than regular paper pages - you can look at the video to get an idea.

I'm specifically looking for board pages, the kind they sell little toddler story books in. I want my young kids to be able to view the pics without tearing pages, and a board book seems to be the best choice.

I'm very happy with my deluxe photo book from artscow, although it's true the cover looks washed out. But inside it's really good quality.

Aside from the quality the two previous posters are mentioning, were they board pages or just plain hard pages?

I'd say they are board pages, but maybe a bit thinner than a childrens book?
Definitely thicker than, say, hard copy paper.
When I made it, they had an up close pic, which showed the thickness.
Good luck! Enjoy making it, wherever you decide!
