Ami featured a sneak preview into their cookbook a few months ago. They printed 2 sample recipes, Duck and wild rice salad with orange shallot dressing and Apple fig crisp.
I can post them if you would like.
If you go to www.judaicapress.com, you can see sample pages of the book. The layout looks beautiful.

pretty much what I was gonna say. The fact that the recipes are original is good and bad. In a way you kind of get sick of the same chocolate cake recipe or whatever in EVERY cookbook.
It's good if you entertain a lot and want to impress your friends. But my husband likes simple food, so not many recipes are useful for me. If you're preparing for simple eaters, and children I'd imagine, this may not be worth your while...

What recipes did people try? I made a few and they came out great. I like entertaining and having new exciting dishes, so I love this cookbook so far.
