I would like to learn how to shoot great pictures.
Do you know of any books that would teach me the details of photography? I guess I'm at beginners level.
Any ideas?

A very good, basic book is Understanding photography by bryan peterson. It's reading and doing 'homework'.

Understanding Exposure.. by Bryan Peterson. Not sure if thats the one you mean, Lifesgreat, or its another one of his books...
