I don't mean Entemann's or Stella D'oro; food not on your level, but real treif from a restaurant or take out place...
Been there, done that - and didn't like it, not one bit!

Of course you don't mean Entenmanns or Stella Dora- because they ARE NOT treif. What's up with that?

You mean was I ever sent on an errand to go buy food for a co-worker or boss from a treif store?
No, and I would expect any co-worker or boss to respect that I wouldn't.

If it was basar b'chalav, I don't think you're allowed to.
If it wasn't, there are other issues involved too, like maris ayin.

Maris ayin is different than bosor vecholov. Anyway, it was soup and bread I had to get, at least that one time....I only remember another time getting sandwich platters for meetings.

I am aware that basar b'chalav and maris ayin are two different things, which is why I mentioned them separately.

Just sharing. Crayon, everything isn't as black and white as you make it out to be.

I didn't say anything was black and white.
Did you ask a rav if you could buy non-kosher food for your coworkers?

That's a personal question.
I don't understand the connection between my job status and buying non-kosher for one's coworkers.

Whether I work or don't work, I would not buy treif food for co-workers without asking a rav if it was okay.

Crayon, you don't live in the world of a working mom.
Theoretically things are mad different than what they are practically!
