Persian Smoked whitefish
Have not tried this yet but there is no reason w hy it wouldn;t be good
6 cloves of garlic
olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
sprigs of thyme
whitefish, 4-5 lbs
4 limes or oranges
You bake 3 whole cloves of garlic ahead of time, whole bulbs in roasted, 300 degrees, for an hour, with the olive oil, salt pepper and thyme.
Increase oven heat to 350 deg and place fish on pan with 3 crushed cloves of garlic and the juice of 2 limes or the oranges. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and add your garlic baked previously.

I'm a little bit confused about the directions...
How many garlic cloves? Like one or a few?
Do you cook the garlic again with the fish or no?
Do you think this would work for any white flesh fished or only whitefish?
Thanks! I think this is my husband's kind of recipe.

Sorry about that. you need 6 cloves of garlic. and I see no reason why it wouldn't work with flounder or salmon or any other fish or even meat.
