those signs for doors saying do not disturb, to hang on parents room. very easy to make from foam.

you can bring in parchment, ink, and feathers (borrow from a friendly sofer) and show them how mezuzos are made.

I work in a conservative Hebrew school and also teach kindergarden. What I have done for kibbud av v'am is had the kids come up with a list of things that thier parents have done for them.

because I just had a baby, I would iniciate by saying "I never new how much parents do for thier children, starting from when they are tiny babies." then I would tell them, these are some things that all parents need to do for thier babies...change, feed...even in the middle of the night, bath ect. and ask them if they knew of other things. and then as the child gets older what are things they know parents do. once they have discussed and you can tell them thier parents have done the same for them...and then I would do a follow up project of making thank you cards, and they can write and illistrate it with some of the things that thier parents have doen for them.

A Shema project: where they earn points for saying the first sentence (shema yisroel). See if anyone says the shema at home.
Count the mezuzahs in the building - and ask how many there are at home.

Make a big chart in the classroom about kibud av v'eim: have the kids come up with ideas about what they do for their parents. After writing it - on big posterboard - give them each a paper to illustrate one thing they do to show kibud av v'eim. If they have grandparents ask them if they can think of ways their parents do kibud av v'eim.
