Help!
back to school is only a few weeks away and I'm trying to get my house and kids organized . Any good tips ?

I'm a list-maker. I keep a daily to-do list, which turns into our 'schedule' when the kids are home from camp.
I have my school supplies list
I have my what-each-kid-needs before school/yom tov list (ie new shoes, haircut etc)
and the what-needs-to-be-ready-in-the-house before school starts list (ie, working pencil sharpener, extra paper, homework space that is free of clutter, etc)
when I plan my to-do list I make sure to add some items from the other lists. then I get to cross each thing off twice, 'cuz that's the best part of lists!
oh, and another back to school tip that is a lifesaver for me...I hire a babysitter a couple of times and take each kid out alone to run some errands. easier for me and this way each kid gets a bit of mommy time.

a date book helps a lot. the kid can chose it himself.
