My son has gone there, too. He was also a friend of Benny's. He went to the Shloshim, (from California)

It is upstate, where Woodstock used to be, I think. It's a Jewish music festival, with food and it goes all day.

my friend was going. Which band is your son in, Sara? Do married people go? I always get the inpression that it's pretty much teenagers. I was worried I would feel like an old lady there.

Since I was away all week, I have no idea if he's playing by himself or with friends....I don't even know what they'd call themselves!

I also have no idea about the age of the crowd!

sorry!

We have to face facts. Lives are busy today. I barely can fit everything in.

You DO remember that his actions put my hsuband in the hospital Erev Pesach, right?

I have no idea what u r talking? he did s/t to put ur dh in hospital? no clue... I seem to miss so many threads! I don't know why!

I totally understand when ppl r busy & don't talk so much- but to say it's no gr8 loss- that just makes me feel so sad!

(of course, u have teenagers & it's so diff from me having toddlers- but I hope to G-d I never say such a thing about my children!!! Although I do understand, they get older & attitude-y, but still! hashem yiracheim)

SaraG, how can you be 100% sure that your husbands illness was totally the fault of your son? It is kind of a very heavy burden to put on him - to know/hear/be told/feel indirectly that he did this to his father.
We have all done things in our youth that we regret and would never do again today.
