I saw a recipe which had an avocado dressing and terra chips, but now I can't find it. Any idea what it is? Thanks

Avocado Dressing Salad - Binah Magazine - Posted by OldYoung

Dressing:
• 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1/3 cup water
• 1-1/2 - 3 Tbsp lemon juice
• 2 cloves garlic
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce OR coarse black pepper
Salad:
• 1 bunch romaine lettuce, torn
• 1 (12-oz) box of grape tomatoes, sliced
• 1 (2 1/4 oz.) can sliced black olives, drained (optional)
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese (optional - for dairy meals)
• 2 scallions, chopped
• 1 small pkg. terra sticks or other chips of your choice

Blend dressing ingredients until smooth. Layer salad ingredients; pour dressing over and sprinkle with chips.

(Original recipe called for 3 Tbsp lemon juice; I halve that, per OldYoung's suggestion. I use black pepper instead of hot pepper sauce. I omit the olives. And I only use cheese when serving a dairy meal.)

I wonder if cracked taco shells would taste good instead of the chips? I don't know what else to do with them..

Can the avocado dressing be made a day in advance, or is it best fresh? Thanks in advance!

The dressing stays good for at least a week sometimes more. Enjoy!
