Hi All,
I am fuming mad about a story I heard this morning.
A newborn baby was tossed out of a moving car in Florida.
B'H", a woman saw what happened, stopped and rescued the poor baby. It even had a plastic bad wrapped around its neck!
She said she saw a young couple in the car arguing before they threw it out.
I am so tired of hearing about these cases. There are 'safe haven'laws and hundreds of coouples who would love to adopt a newborn.
Why do people do these horrible things?
Growl!
The good news is the baby is alive and expected to make a full recovery !
On that note I wish everyone a gut shabbos.

This story made me so mad!!
People think everything is disposable nowadays. Don't want the baby--toss it out the window!! I mean, doesn't this couple have ANY feelings for this poor child? Totally unbelievable!
One thing I don't understand about this story: In the article I read it said that the baby was one hour old with the umbilical cord still attached. So does that mean the baby was born in the car?

My husband told me this story and sounds horrific, only I just thought the baby was ded, due to being thrown out the car...my husband said it survived, so I wondered how, but he didn't know, just said it was alive.
So basically this woman was probably maybe a teen? Nobody knew she was pregnant and instead of chucking her baby in a bin or something, she made up a story so someone would look after the baby. Minus the paperwork of adoption coz then baby can come looking for her 18 years down the line.
So not so bad when you think about it.

I couldn't believe it when I heard the real end of the story.
At least no harm came to the child and it will probably end up being adopted and going to good parents.
But here are plenty of stories where that doesn't happen. I hope more girls and women in this difficult decision can learn from this and make the right choice for everyone involved.
