I'd like to give my mother a jewellery box as a gift for yom tov and I'm looking for a poem to go with it. In the past I've written her some really meaningful letters and would like something slightly different this time. I know some of you women are really talented, would you care to help me out pls? It should be a thank you and gut yom tov poem combined. TIA.

I've written 2 poems that may be okay. This is the one I like better.
From the time I was born,
A little baby so small,
Dependant on my mother
Since I could not walk or crawl,
You always were there
To help me through the years.
You've kissed all my boo boos
And shooed away my fears
You do it with a smile,
Never hesitate at all.
You cheer me up when I am down,
And lift me when I fall.
And so, as this Yom Tov
Is again drawing near,
I'd like to say thank you
For always being there.
Thank you for helping me
Be all that I can be,
And enjoy this gift
From my family and me.
