Maybe we can help each other by posting as we do it or keeping up with our goals.

Whatcha people talking about? Confused Surprised I thought Pilates was a name of a Roman governor in the times of Bayis Sheni, or maybe also a philosopher?

Is it something to do with computers? Please pardon my ignorance embarrassed

pilates is an excersise system that helps you tone down and remain flexible. its pretty much good for toning its almost similar to yoga

Very Happy Pilates also works on the core of our body, which is the abdomen. It is great for strengthening, balance, and weight loss as well as toning. It is a challenge, but I enjoy it!

A guy named Joseph Pilates started it. They are making money off his name after he is gone! So I do it at the gym and the teacher I do is so challenging. I've done her class for a year and it is still hard every week. Some teachers are way too easy. It should be challenging to work. It is great to build so much strength and stability without weights! LOL

just want to say that I've seen it work great. don't do it anymore, but was in a small class last winter. we didn't necessarily lose weight (only women who were dieting too) but inches came off all of us after going steady several times each week.
