My son is driving me batty!!!

My son is 3 1/2 and has been trained for quite some time. Last month we decided to start night training. He was very embarrassed to wear pampers, and I refuse to buy pull-ups since it is just glorified pampers at a glorified price. It's been going well, then all of a sudden he started waking up SOAKED, as if he just peed. Sunday morning, I woke up before my alarm clock, and heard him tell my younger daughter "I woke up dry but mommy cant know that so I'm going to pee my bed now and I'm going to be soaking wet!!!" OMG I blew a fuse! He's been doing it on purpose!!! We have a chart for him, and give him a treat every couple of days for staying dry. He did it again this morning, and I told him he'll have to sleep on his wet smelly sheet, since he knows to use the bathroom when he's awake. What on earth do I do with him??
