My suspicion: All those men waiting in long lines for pizza right at motzaei hechag are just there to get away from cleaning and clearing away the pessach stuff. (The longer the line, the better, they can stay longer and help even less.) (So they all conspire at shul to form the longest possible lines????)
Nobody needs chometz imediatly after pessach.
To prove it: Israelis run to queue for pizza after day 7, in chul we have no problem waiting one more day.
To prove it even more: when motzaei chag falls on Shabbos, Israelis have no problem waiting one more day either.

Mufletta and sfinj that my Moroccan friend made. She invited me for the mimouna. Was amazing. Need to make sure to get an invite every year.
My kids are used to pizza. They felt deprived. But there was no kosher pizza where we were. So had to do without.
