Yes, food does sell but emes also sells. If it's not your event, I don't think it's your place to take over, but you can kindly offer to help.


I'd be embarrassed because I wouldn't people exploring orthodox Judaism to think these orthodox people are chintzy and have bad events and not come to another one... when I could easily have made spent an hour or two of my time and $25-50 of my money to make some snacks and some cookies and brownies -- and have them have good associations with orthodox Judaism.

Why are you so insistent on derailing this thread and fighting this point to prove your point I have bad character?
