I would have felt very uncomfortable in a group setting, I brought up a lot of questions and we really went into things a lot more than she does with most kallahs.
I paid £700 ($900) for about 22 hours of classes. I also was in touch with her a lot.

Even if group sessions are offered, noone will be forcing anyone to choose them over private classes. OP was asking about the price bracket, not what each of us would prefer.

I paid $1600 4 years ago for private lessons (in boro park)
As many sessions as it takes for the kallah to feel comfortable and ready.

My kallah teacher didn’t charge, she just said she collects Tzedakah for someone specific and any amount we want to donate is appreciated. We gave the going rate at the time. ($500)
