I recognize her from Tik tok. She explains a lot of Torah things but not always accurately and many times with her own spin on it. Tik tok loves her, but I’m honestly embarrassed for her. She doesn’t represent me or my view on Torah Judaism.
For example, she takes proofs from the Gemara that we support transgender and non-binary and lgbt.

I feel bad for them. I think the newspaper probably added the terms hot and [inappropriate] etc. If you read her comments it sounds more like she is explaining the concept of niddah and then it being like your wedding night again. But the article makes it more trashy sounding. Don't get me wrong I think it was not a good idea to share in an article, but I also don't think it came out the way they expected.

I think by now most adults are aware that when you're interviewed for an article it will be spun and twisted whichever way the reporter wants. If you want to make sure nobody ever writes an article like this about you, don't agree to an interview in the first place.

Somehow I don’t believe the newspaper twisted much. I have a strong feeling she actually said the words attributed to her.

Here’s some of the article for those that asked

I have the best relations with my husband — since we stopped sleeping together
The secret to hot relations is never sleeping with your spouse.

A mother of four says she and her husband maintain a “passionate and spicy” relations life because they sleep in separate beds.

During the time of Niddah, we can’t be physical in any way, so any problems you have can’t be solved by a ‘kiss and make up,'” Brooklynite Miriam, 36, told South West News Service.

“You have to work through issues with words on a deeper level and it is definitely something which enriches the relationship.”

Miriam Ezagui, 36, said that she and her husband Aron Ezagui, 35, are not intimate when she gets her period -- or Niddah -- nor the following week due to the religion's tenants.
Miriam Ezagui, 36, says she and her husband Aron, 35, have hot relations because they share separate beds and abstain from lovemaking for two weeks of the month.
Miriam Ezagui / SWNS
The couple took the rule to a whole new level and decided not to share a bed year-round.
The [inappropriate] Ezaguis say the two beds have also made for one super-hot love life.

Did they bother to show the article to a rabbi before letting it go to print?

I can't open the link but I saw the article title and comments here. If she weren't frum (what does frum adjacent mean, anyway?) would she be so into TH?

Speaking as a journalist, the pieces never get read by the people they are about. No secular publisher will allow the subjects of a piece to dictate its contents

But again, consider the source

Her points are typical kallah teacher talk.
Does anyone actually feel like it is another wedding night, post mikvah?

Here ya go.
My reaction as well.
I have no idea who she is but no sane person would agree to be interviewed by the NY Post. It's trash.
And also there are so many non Jews who also sleep in separate beds. This is really not a "chiddush". Of course if you have different sleep schedules you should have your own beds.
