Overthehill: You made me cry. You have real talent. You should definitely send it to his parents. Such poems bring emotions out in a healthy way.

With one wrong turn, on that fateful day
An innocent, young boy was taken away
By evil that was masked by one of our own
Leiby, poor Leiby, you couldn't have known
And though this is all part of a master plan
That cannot be understood by woman or man
We know from this tragedy good will prevail
Even though in anguish, with fresh tears we still wail:
"Why, Hashem, why? How can this be?
Why take such an beautiful small child, our dear Leiby?
The geulah must come, the suffering must end!
Deliver us from this life & Mashiach please send!"
And though we suffer in sadness and pain
We know this young boy did not die in vain
He brought us together while from us he did part
Showed us what is important, touched every Yid's heart
So that we may all band together to do the Ratzon Hashem
And be redeemed in our days, bimhayra b'yameinu, Amen.

Copy and paste your poem from here in Word, and print it from there. Or else write it out longhand.

I wrote this Monday night as my husband, a member of the BP Shomrim, was out searching for Leiby.
It doesn't rhyme, but not all poems have to.

There’s a child missing.
He never came home.
He is nine years old.
Are you saying Tehillim?

There’s a child missing.
It is midnight.
Search parties and volunteers
All hoping to find
A child missing.

Not just a child.
He is our child.
Family, friends, Klal Yisroel
Worries, prayers, tears
Yearning to hear that
No child is missing.

or either on the top or bottom of the page, click on the print button. It looks like a printer Wink . If you just want yours, at the top of the page it will say x amount until x amount. Change it to whatever number yours is until the same number and press enter. Then you just print it.
