YOB. Very typical graduate on the outside (what the world sees), on the inside not at all.

No gerers? Where are you? Isn't there a forum for ger? Not ger just went there? Would love to know what it's like today. I don't send my kids there. I am not affiliated with them. Oh I just checked and oops there isn't a forum for ger.

Bais Yaakov of Baltimore. I left with very conflicted feelings about the yeshivish world, went to an amazing seminary (Darchei Binah) that allowed me to grow in my frumkeit at my own pace, and would now consider myself very much the BY mold.

BYHS of boro park over a decade ago. I don't think I'm their ideal graduate but despite the fact that I have an advanced degree and have become a thinking individual (obviously something that happened after high school) I think they would tick me off in the success column because I still fit very neatly into their heimishe box. As far a brooklyn schools go, it's not perfect (understatement of the century) but probably the best fit for my theoretical daughters as well.

Hi! Finally! So when I was in 12 th you were in 9th. Remember Mrs altcshuler? So how is ger today with the new principal? Did it become more like the chasidishe schools? Or did it stay the same? For some reason I think it kind of stayed the same
Is Mrs Weiss still there? Checking to see if your wearing tights?

Me too. 1980s. I think we should post the decade we graduated. Because that impacted our experiences too.

CUTA ( ) seems like I'm the first one. I'm a poster 'graduate' of 11th grade. I skipped the 'final hour' of 12th. I was called into principals office the most just because my 'looks' bothered them. Took off palm stockings as soon as I could (came to realization that there are other opaque tights out there). If I end up living in willi when my girls will be entering elementary, I will probably send them there as I know what their skeletons. other schools not so much.
