For Rosh Hashanah-Velvet shoes cuz hello, it's yt, or summer runes still? |
Depending on weather. I don’t follow rules. If it’s warm I use summer wardrobe if it’s cold I’ll do winter. I can wear winter on day one and summer one day 2. If someone takes issue with it they can let me know.
Are you the type to have peer pressure?

Do you have a steady cleaning lady? |
No. I dislike having strangers going through my space more than I would like someone clean for me...
Would you rather work and have a cleaning lady or stay at home and clean yourself?

I liked your question.
Math is something you either love or hate. Same with grammar.

I’d rather stay home and have a cleaning lady.
Does anyone actually have what they want?

Reminds me of the saying: rather rich and healthy than poor and ill... and unfortunately, it is true that lack of revenues can translate to lack of healthcare or poorer health...

No because if they want (lack) it they don't have it.
Since covid will not allow much going out on yom tov - will you just buy a new pyjama for yom tov?

I bought so many in March they’re still in good condition.
Will you go to shul this Yom tov?

I hope to, iy"H!
Do you have a fixed Shabbos menu or do you like to change it up?

Fixed menu, but desserts can be different.
Do you enjoy baking?

More or less fixed, but it changes seasonally and according to circumstances.
On Friday evening I like to do chicken in clay pot, because it's so easy. You just toss all the ingredients in, put it in the oven and forget about it till you serve it. Shabbat noon mostly milchig, tshulent or parve tshulent in winter...
and yes, I enjoy baking.Right now I'm heavily into sourdough bread... but I also like doing challot, cakes, etc... It's also a very nice activity with children... making challa or things from challa dough works from age 2 on... they love to get their hands all dirty when kneading the dough, at this age...
Do you think a parve/milchig main shabat seuda is not a seuda?

I do, but I enjoy decorating baked goods more - baking the cake or cookies is my least favourite part...
Do you have any picky eaters?

No, zero tolerance for picky eaters here and it works.
No-one is forced to eat anything, but I tried to show them a nice repertoire especially of veggies and fruits from an early age, sometimes we used the odd bit of reverse psychology (no, you can't have brussel sprouts, iit's too delicious, just grown-ups like them).
Do you think a "real" shabbat seuda should contain meat?

Our minhag is to eat meat at both meals. Don’t know if it depends on what you think. A dairy meal sounds nice though. Reminds me of shavuos.
Do you serve cheese cake? Can you invite me for a day meal?

I don't serve cheese cake, and I don't think you're in my time zone (currently also close to meridian 0 ) so I don't think I can invite you for a meal.
ChanieMommy, I think a milchig/pareve Shabbos meal is a great idea and I should implement it. Re picky eaters - training them in young doesn't help when it's dh...
How can I get him to like more things? Tired of the same suppers on repeat!

With pleasure! This shabbat?
My main reason for dairy is a hot coffee or tea with milk after the meal and: ice cream!!!
I love making ice cream and serving it on shabbat.. and milchig is so much better than parve!!!!
Cheese cake, on the other hand, is not my favorite. Even on Shavuot I make alternatives like chocolate mousse cake...
Do you prefer milchig or parve icecream?

With an adult, it's hard.
But you could have modular meals, with one component he likes, so that he will be satiated, and other components he doesn't like, for the rest of the family...

Will you kill me if I say neither? It's not a popular opinion, but I'm really not an ice cream person...
Do you prefer savoury or sweet foods?

There are plenty of reasons not to like icecream... like brainfreeze...
Siriusly? wrote: | Do you prefer savoury or sweet foods? |
both. I like chocolate, ice cream, sweet fruit like watermleon and garlick...

At the moment: Water melon.
In winter: raw veggies (carrots, celery stalks, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, kohlrabi, radish)
Do you think it is a good idea for preschools and schools to forbid children to bring "unhealthy" snacks?
(teacher checks snacks, keeps sweets, and sends it back with child in the evening, with a note to parents. Parents are informed of school rules at the beginning of the year)

I think it's a good idea to forbid unhealthy snacks. However, teacher should not be sending it back home because then the kid will eat it on the bus on the way home... Teacher should put junk food into the garbage (where it belongs) and be stocked up with options to offer child a healthy alternative.
Can you list the eight planets?
