I have one for about a year now. I love it. It's soft and sleek, couldn't ask for more for the price I paid.

just curious for those that have the jap wig, do you wear it every day, or for work? my sheitel macher talked me out of it. she said I shouldn't give it more than 6 months.

I bought a jap in september and I just had it cut. I feel like the front is very thin, almost a bald spot where the part begins. I had the shaitel macher cut wisps and thats when I noticed it. Anyone else see this on their jap?

All my ex-sister-in-law's wigs are JAP wigs. And her clothes are JAP clothes, her ideas are JAP ideas, and her kids are all JAPs, too. Meeeeeoooowwww!
I just can't believe anyone actually named their wig business Jap wigs. But then, I guess in some circles, "JAP" is considered a compliment .
I also can't believe no one of Japanese descent has complained.

My SIL has a Jap. She likes it better than her Shuly. Regardless, her Shuly looks fantastic on her!

I have a 19" curly Jap wig for about 10 months now. I also have another nearly new shaitel that cost more than 4 times as much sitting practicaly unworn because I like the jap one more. Wherever I go I get tons of compliments on it and and shaitelmacher that washes and sets it always asks me where its from because its so nice. It does tend to tangle a bit but since its curly you cant even notice. Also I think its such a "mazal zach" with sheitelach anyways. Out of the 7 shaitelach Ive owned since I got married 3 of them expensive customs this is by far my favorite, gets the most use of any Ive ever owned and the most compliments. Its also very light on my head, I cant even feel that Im wearing it which couldnt be said for a couple of other lower priced europeans Ive bought in the past. and if you think of it If you spend 480 for a 19" wig and even if it only lasts a year, you can get another one next year. I will never buy another shaitel that costs thousands of dollars, how long are those going to last anyway or look amazing?

How is the cap made? Is it a stretch? Closed or wefts? Does anyone have both a Jap and a Milano, which is what I'm currently looking into? I'm a 16/10 -- any thoughts on Jap in that color range (light brown/dark blonde)?
Appreciated!

I have a blond milano and while it looks nice on, the hair is thick and coarse I constantly have to brush it for it to look normal. I'm interested in how blond jap hair compares.

Nicole could you tell me about the cap and the other questions that I put in the above post? Also, does anyone know if they do a payment plan like Milano has? Thanks!

the cap is closed, and I *think* it's stretch. I don't know about a payment plan, but you should call and ask your questions.
I'm probably going back to purchase on sunday (I kinda got dh to agree... woohoo) so I can ask if you'd like.

I just received my 16/10 JAP 20 inch fall in the mail. I am VERY impressed. Stretch cap, 2x3 inch skin top (falls don't really need them) Long silky hair, good highlight pattern. I will let you know how it holds up but am impressed for the amount of money I paid. It is very light and the hair isn't too thick. I finally feel like myself again.
