They probably are, because I like them! I usually have a hard time finding shoes because I don't like the "styles." The first shoe you listed should be classic. Should never go out of style. Except it probably has - ten years ago or so. That's why I've had a hard time finding shoes for the past ten years

I don't think Naturalizer are meant to be stylish; I think the emphasis is on comfort.
They are both pretty ugly, no matter what (my opinion, and I am NOT a stylish person - I wear NB sneakers, Lands End flip flops and Teva Naot sandals in summer and Munro shoes that are over 6 years old when I have to go out on Shabbat or wedding in the winter - and I want a pair of crocs) but they look comfy. You are young now, but that fades quickly. Wear shoes that are good for your feet so as to help minimize issues later on. Stylish today is passe tomorrow. Be smart!

all I see is a back of a shoe.
anyhow- I'm a sahm, and I usually wear sneakers because I'm usually walking all over the place anyway, but I did want a pair of shoes for the once in a blue moon time that I do have to go out ,and don't feel like wearing sneakers.

My, my aren't we the stylish ones... it's the age, old lady! Anyway, I don't have crocs yet so I borrow my DS's.
I neglected to mention my LL Bean flip flops: very cute with a bug design on the thong part. I think one is a dragon fly design, the other - I don't know. In the winter, if it's cold, I wear them with socks. One pair is just for that once a month occasion because our mikva lady doesn't let us walk around in anything that has been worn outside and I don't want to wear their offerings. Lands End made the best, years ago, with a great EVA sole but they have since discontinued that line, much to my chagrin. None of the other flip flops are as light and comfy as those were. My last 2 pairs are just about worn out
I have a pair of Birkenstock felt clogs but I don't like them. The sole is too hard. They were a bday present a few years ago. My poor DH - I told him they are too hard for my soles. Oh well.
