I'm usually a good writer, but I'm not amazing at poetry. I'm looking for a cute poem to sent out on thank you cards for baby presents received. I did a google search, but most of them are for baby showers & I'm having trouble adapting them, especially as most of them reference the baby not being born yet. I don't really care what it says, as long as it's written from the baby & it's relatively cute. Anyone?

If you like short and sweet:
Our sincere thanks
For choosing a baby gift so sweet
And sending the kind of wish
That made the thought complete.

I think a short note is fine. a poem means you sent it to everyone. it's not necessary and maybe not even appreciated.

I know, but then I have to think of something to write to everyone separately. I've gotten lots of thank you cards with a poem & one or two personalized lines referencing the gift I bought. I personally think it's really cute.

I try to write them w/ baby info there.
My favorite one is the one I wrote for my now almost 16 yr old son:::
Yirmiyahu is my name
Troublemaking Is my game
But polite I also must be
So Respectfully I say
In a most polite way
Thanx for the gift You sent me

I'd personalize them--if you can't right a poem that is able to include a different gift for each person than maybe you shouldn't write a poem.
I'm a firm believer in writing specific and personalized notes--that have a sentence or two about that person's particular gift.

I'm planning on writing a personal sentence or two about the specific gift. I just thought a poem would be cute.

Here;s what I wrote for my son if you're still searching:
I’d like to take a moment, from my babbling and cooing
And all the important stuff we babies are busy doing,
To thank you so much for your thoughtful present
It sure made my welcome here all the more pleasant,
I’m enjoying your gift; it makes me look really handsome,
My Totty and Mommy are shepping nachas and then some,
Thanks so much for your ______ gift which I'll surely treasure
May we only share in simchos together;

Thank you so much for the gift
and especially the gift receipt
Your taste is quite abominable
Although your thought is sweet.
So excuse me now, while off I dash
It's time to return it
For the cash!

I have a similar one:
I am really very small and have a lot to do
Eating, crying and sleeping to name a few
But I took out of my busy schedule just
A few minutes time
To say Thank You Very Much for your gift
In this cute little rhyme!!
