Flats, more open cut in the front, and something there like a clip or something.

Of course heels are in style. Five inch heels are very in right now all the expensive shoe companies like Jimmie Choo, Dior, Manolo Blanik, Prada have high heels. Even for weekday now the heel is like four inches with a bootie. This is what Manhattan is wearing for every day right now.

ok- there has to be a happy medium between flat, flat shoes and five inch heels. Aaaargh, I hate what's in style.

I either wear flats or heels or comfy Uggs.
Usually stores like Nine West have shoes that are in style. On the higher end you have Nordstrom or Saks.

How about wedges?

Not exactly practical for you to be wearing heels as an everyday shoe, since you're a sahm with lil kids.

On the other hand, flats are just so blah. Since I'm petite and dh is very tall, I especially don't love flats.

You don't want a clunky platform shoe, that's just not cool right now. But a non-clunky wedge or platform shoe should be just fine.

Like let's say a 2 inch wedge.

That's cool.

If you look pretty, put together, and are confident, just about anything can look stylish.

Little ankle boots with puffs of fur.

For shoes, you can find very open flats with a big emphasis on the accessory in the front such as an oversized buckle, a ruffle under a buckle, goodness knows.

Thanks but their shoes are terrible quality. It feels like wearing cardboard.

Am I the only one who simply cannot wear those mostly-open-on-top ballet flats? They just don't stay on my feet.
