Playgroup assistant-how to find a job as one?

I am trying to help a young girl find a job as a playgroup assistant. She wants to work with little kids, she is a bit on the modern side. I am clueless about teaching, so I dont know if its a teaching type of job, and I am clueless about playgroups-I never sent my kids to one. She lives in lakewood, so I am even more clueless, as I dont really know that many people there to ask.

PS: Wasnt sure if I should post this under teaching or toddlers...if its posted in the wrong place, can a mod move it over to tollders for me?

I understand in Lakewood people have playgroups in their houses and not schools. What you need to do is ask around who has a playgroup and ask them in they need an assistand.
