Broccoli
Green Beans

I love having frozen food or I wouldn't be able to pull this off.

chicken soup
boiled cabbage (yes, we like this)
onion roasted potatoes
chicken with duck sauce
apple pie

lunch ?? (we were invited out!)

I know there's the expression "Her floors are so clean you could eat off of 'em" but umm, Greenie dear, that doesn't mean you can actually eat THE floors! Yay for take out! Or eating out...Betayavon! Smile

See my thread from Thursday, re: Dishwashers. My hands are cracked from the horribly dry weather we've been having, and doing dishes doesn't improve the situation.

It's that time again.
(community meal, alot of ppl, so again trying to keep simple, maybe 70 ppl)
challa(bakery0
gefilte fish
spicy carrot salad
couscous craisin salad (from new KBD)
chickpea salad
tossed salad
chicken soup/knaidlach (sorry the vegetarians will have to sing during soup course)
roast chicken
green beans
borekas
brown rice/edemames (again New KBD, hope ppl dont mind being guinea pigs)

chocolate mint brownies
coffee crunch cake

Must figure out lunch still (CrosswordFan's son is coming!!!!)

shnitzel (baked)

fresh vegetable salad
soup & kneidlach
chicken, don't know what kind yet
challah kugel with apples/raisins

cholent

double-decker brownies
choc chip ww cookies

I think I can get the soup and fish done. And cholent and avocado dip. And I'll buy a coleslaw bag.
My kids are sick and I'm on call 24 hours.

We're invited for lunch (yay!!), so this is dinner (we're having guests):

Dinner:

Challah
Hummus/Babaganoush
Potato salad (spicy, sephardic style - lemon juice, EVOO, harissa)
Fennel/Olive salad
Vegetarian liver (store bought)
Spicy carrot salad
Mecbouba (Tunisian matboucha)
Zuchinni salad (Tunisian: Stewed zucchinis with harissa, caraway, white vinegar, served cold)
Anise meatballs
Fried eggplant
(...No fish this week because guest has severe allergy)

Chicken Soup

Rice or kugel
Vegetable side dish (probably green beans)
Chicken (chinese recipe - using teryaki and duck sauce and sesame seeds)
Green Salad

Dessert (guest bringing)
