If I've pre-soaked the beans over night, how long do I need to put my bean and barley soup in the crockpot?

I'm not an expert but I see no one answered.
I usualy do it on high for a couple of hours (until it boils) and then low another 3 - 6 hours

THANK YOU, well I put it on high at 9am this morning and will see how it goes, if I see it's losing water after a couple of hours I'll change it to low, it's for lunch, and originally I was meant to not be home all morning (hence wanting to make a crockpot lunch), but in the end I am.

YW, hope it comes out yummy!
BTW, I often plug the little steam vent in the top of my crock pot. Only one has it (I have 2 pots one parve 1 meat) and I have never noticed a problem from blocking it. It helps the evaporation syndrome. I just wad up a small piece of tin foil and stick it in the little vent hole.
