I'm sure we all can think of regular everyday necessities that for some reason havent been invented yet.
Why havent they made yet:
-skis for a stroller to get thru the snow?
-stick on plastic linings for the bottom of your shoes- to peel off once you come inside so you dont track outside dirt around your clean house?

For years I've had a terrific Graco stroller with huge wheels - it came as part of a 4-in-1 system. That thing can 4-wheel through almost anything! Smile

it's 2006 and there still isnt an easier way to have a baby other than wait 9 months. I'm looking for something 'wireless' - like putting the embryo on a shelf and watching it thrive for nine months......... Wink

I actually read somewhere that people are working on just such a robot but it's probably going to be just as expensive as highering a maid 24/7. Wink

nah not cloning just instead of it inside you you actually see the growing process of your baby. okay maybe not entertaining but would be interesting to see the stages from month to month of how your baby grows inside of you I always wondering how a baby looked from month to month

It's doubtful that Las Vegas bettors would have put any money on an Orthodox Israeli schoolteacher and mother of five taking the city by storm and setting 2005's annual Consumer Electronics Show on its ear. But that's exactly what inventor and super mom Sarah Lipman did, overcoming the odds while casting a whole new light on the way users can interact with their computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices.

How about laying eggs?

In the 1990's, when the big wave of Russian immigrants came to America, they were amazed at the inventions that we have.
One guy was given a tour in the supermarket, and he couldn't get over the developments in the food industry.
"Wow, soup mix, that's amazing!" he said, "to think about what we had to go through to make soup... Unbelievable!".
"Instant potatoes, that's ingenious!" he marveled.
"Milk powder, incredible! Getting a cup of milk was a long process in Russia!"
Then he came to the pharmacy goods aisle. There he really choked. He read it over and over to make sure he got it right, then he blurted, "BABY POWDER, oh my! You know what we went through to have these?!"

As far as inventions - why don't we have portable rechargeable outlets? or cordless irons? Those would be really practical.
