Some say panties for a boy and I think it's a ruffled thing and belongs on girls. I hate that word anyways and we call it underpants.

We call it underwear too.
For some reason I have vague repressed memories of my mother calling it "Bloomers". Talk about traumatizing!

We call them underwear and undies- for boys and girl. I think panties is a weird term.

Dont hungarians call them "budgies"? Ew, I hate that word, some of my SILs use that.
We say 'hoizelech', meaning 'small pants'

Knickers for everybody (even though I suppose for boys it's underpants, but somehow we ended up calling them knickers anyway!)

Aren't they technically "interhoizen"?
We call the undies for girls "panties" and boys "underpants"
