Shalom,
I have a question if anyone has more information or experience about this. As you know it is a obligation for every jewish men to learn everyday Torah. My husband has a very good relation to our Rabbi who made him the following offer.
As my husband is not abel to learn everyday he offer him to learn everday 1 hour Torah for him and my husband should pay him a certain amount money. So my husband would fullfil his obligation to learn Torah.
He said this situation is common or was in the past Issachar was learning for Zevulun who was a businessman and had no time for learning.
It counts as he would learn Torah. This situation is also described in the Kitzur Schulchan Aruch Book 1 ยง 27 Hilchot Talmid Torah and also in the Mishna Zevachim !
Does anyone has further information about this or any experience regarding this topic.
Thank you
hope you don't mind, I changed some spelling - mod.

It is indeed a wonderful thing to have a Yissocher-Zevulun relationship. What I'm wondering is, can the rabbi learn WITH your husband for an hour a day or a few times a week?

Aha. Listen, it's up to you. It's a big mitzva to support Torah study.
