I agree with some of the commentators. She could live here and travel there to teach classes. She is a beautiful person, I am certain, Torah loving, lots of ahavat yisroel, all in all wonderful human being; but she n needs to be here now.

I don't think any of us can say where she "needs" to be. It sounds like she's doing a great job where she is and it seems like she's sure that's what her tafkid is.

It is a mitzvah to be in Israel. I know she is doing good, but it is an obligation to live here in Israel, an obligation I admit that we neglected for years. I think if she has any ability to come here and live and go back there and take care of helping others come here, she should. It made me sad watching her, incredibly sad.

It made me happy and touched, that she is responsible for all these people being in Israel. It's clear her heart aches to be here, think of all the good she's doing.

There are other mitzvos as well, and the ones she is doing are also an important obligation that has been neglected for years. That's why people have a rav, to determine what mitzvos take precedence over which other ones.
You think she should go to EY and leave her family to come to America to teach? What kind of a mother is that? How is that living in EY?

I always understood that you're exempt from the mitzvah if you're out somewhere on shlichus. (I'm not sure if that reffers to shlichus for recruiting people to make Aliah or shlichus to do Kiruv)
Either way, she does both.
