I'd like to take my kids to American Dream and do one cheap but fun activity. We are not picky but cost is a factor. If there is one cheap activity that would be fun for 11- 13 year old boy/girl what would that be.

Thank you

Maybe try one of the tchotchke stores to buy inexpensive hair accessories/ keychains? This way, they leave with something and the excitement lasts longer.

You can do some rides at nickolodean a la cart- it’s a point system. So maybe can pick like 2-3 rides for each. Not sure what it comes out to but you don’t need to buy everyone an admission ticket

The address might have some things on sale now. There is always a $10 table of books there. You could get a book or socks or overpriced headbands and still come out cheaper than any activity.

You could go to toys r us and let each child choose 1 fancy drink such as milkshake.

No only toys r us and bravo pizza is cholov yisroel. There is also a lot of non kosher food. Do not eat anything without checking for a hechsher. Other dairy if kosher is cholov stam. Chickies and a falafel place next door to it are also kosher. Those plus bravo are upstairs in the food court.

Don’t just look at price… look at how long it will take. Mirror maze was fun but took less than 10 min… so $1 a minute wasn’t that cheap…

I did ice skating and pizza with kids that age. Ice skating is cheaper if you buy tickets online in advance. Probably not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Then browsing stores like it's sugar, etc. It was a fun day.

Absolutely not, most isn't kosher.
Toys R us has a kosher cafe. Then there's Bravo Pizza & Chickies. Only those 3 places have a reputable hashgacha. Some other kiosks like Cinnabon, Dunkin... also sell kosher things, but their hashgacha is not so reputable.

Excuse me? Kof K is considered an extremely reliable and reputable hechsher.

The other stores are Chalav stam, true, but the hechsher is reliable.

Ironically, the hechsher on toys r us isn't held of by many, despite it being Chalav Yisrael

OP it’s a regular mall that also has a few kosher restaurants and frum stores inside it. So you’ll still have plenty of non tznius type of stores and ads etc all throughout the mall just FYI.

In terms of activities, we loved the activate and I think that would be great for your kids ages. It was $25 per person if I remember correctly and we spent about 45 minutes there I think? I don’t remember exactly but it was really fun and different.

I didn't say that it's not reliable. I said that it's not reputable. As in many yeshivish people don't hold of that hechsher.

Activate is worth the price IMO. It’s $25 and lasts about 40 min I think.
