Depends on the baby! My newborns needed 20-25 per size till about a year when they stopped spitting up.
From one to 3 about 10 sets weekday and 3 shabbos, 6-7 pajamas.
I do laundry once a week for everyone, for babies daily.

If you do laundry daily for babies why did you need 20-25??

I like about 10 weekday, 3 fuzzier ones for sleeping (I don't always change then but if I have to then I use a cozier one), and a couple Shabbos ones.
My baby wore 3 different ones yesterday due to spit up. Laundry is when hamper is full (his clothing goes in my hamper) and so the faster it fills due to his changes, the more often it gets done.

Stained baby clothes take more than a day to wash. Spraying, Soaking, washing, hanging outside in sun to fade…. Then there’s Friday and Shabbos when I don’t wash….

About 10. They’re in swaddle blankets for the first month or so and sleep on their tummies so spit up lands on the sheet or blanket for the most part.

If you have a baby who spits up a lot, is it possible to just invest in a lot more bibs?
I have been fortunate to have babies who are relatively clean so I don't find that I need all that many outfits, we don't usually change more than once daily, so 10 sounds about right so I don't need to do laundry more than once a week for the baby. 3 Shabbos ones sounds good, one for each day and a spare, but worst case you can always change them into a nicer weekday one or into a cozy pajama-ish one if they go thru all 3, people get it, it's a baby, clearly some mess happened.

Why don't anyone mentions anything about bibs?
Saves a lot of laundry

Most babies don’t sleep on their tummies.

Bibs didn’t help my babies. Welcome to projectile vomiting. Their footie/blanket/ swaddle was one big bib. That’s why I wrote on my first post that it depends on the baby!
