Omgggg this is making me feel so good😂😂
Lately for us it's:
-she wants to be first for EVERYTHING
- (after an hour of videos) " BUT I DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH VIDEOSðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
- anything that she wanted to do by herself or that she wanted mommy to do, not totty! Or If she wanted totty to do something, not mommy!

He decided only his father ( who was on an. Important work call) could get him dressed. Seriously screamed the house down
Unbuckled himself in my car and refused to let me strap him back in . Also refused to get out of the car when we got home .
What a fun day 🤪

Kid is no longer a toddler anymore but one of my kids had a tantrum at 2 in the morning because she wasn’t born at our wedding.

I don’t remember the initial reason she started screaming but then once she was I decided to throw her in the bath because she was obviously tired and that brought on an additional bout of screams.
When she was finally done her pre-teen brother threw a tantrum because he didn’t wanna go along to the pizza store but he also wanted to make sure he got an equal share of the milkshake they were bringing back for him, or his own ice cream.

We had lots of meltdowns today because my little boy was extra cranky for unknown reasons...
-He wanted the chair that his sister was on.
-Wanted a fork, not a spoon.
-I dared open his zipper after he asked for help. He really wanted to do it by himself.
- Wanted me to read him a different book- not the one he'd brought to me and begged me to read.
- He wanted totty to take off his dirty diaper, but mommy to put on the clean one.
- He wanted to fill the bath by himself
- He didn't want his teeth brushed
-He wanted me to use a different tissue to wipe his nose.
- He hadn't wanted his brother to tell him good night.
- He wanted to take his sister's sticker album, but she didn't let.
- He wanted a different balloon.
And probably some more that I'm not recalling at the moment.

I flushed the toilet for her after wiping. She wanted to do it herself. Some things just can't be undone.

I’m reading these and thinking wow my 2 yo is so not in the terrible two stage, she’s a chiller and doesn’t tantrum that much, BH!
Dw, the one on top of her made up for her plus another 5 kids
But yesterday she took a pencil sharpener to the water cooler, filled it up and drank it. Went back to fill it up, when I noticed it wasn’t a cup, said ewwww don’t drink that! And made her spill it out. She tantrumed that she wants to drink only from the pencil sharpener 🤣

Wish I knew!
14 months old and tantrums ALL day
Mostly it’s because I’m trying to either dress her/undress her or gasp change her diaper! Or she wants to nurse AGAIN!
A character this one!

Omg this thread is so validating. Toddler tantrummed non-stop today, first because she wanted to wear the shirt she wore yesterday which is now in the laundry, then because I wouldn't hold her...in the CAR, then because she wanted her brother's snack and he wasn't in the mood of sharing...I could go on but I'll spare y'all.
I've been trying to figure out why all my kids are super kvetches lately and I've narrowed it down to these two reasons:
-Flu/cold season. Kids have had fever, bad colds, stomach viruses etc. All recovering now bH but probably affects their behavior.
-Winter doldrums. It's been too cold for most of this season for even short walks outside and I feel like it's really getting to my kids. They need fresh air! They need to run outside and play! The winter afternoons are endless...
Wish there was something I could do about the non-stop tantrums and general crankiness. All ideas welcome!

Was reading my 16 months old a book which had chocolate in it. It opened up her craving for chocolate and started with please please and when that didn't work....
Her favorite blanket was wet from the wash she wanted the blanket and didn't like the wet feeling. So I didn't magicly make it dry that moment. And wasn't fixing it ...
A bunch of other times because I didn't understand her right away and she didn't get she wanted the minute she asked....

Despite the fact we have always made Tuna by mixing in Mayo, toddler 2# saw me today making lunches and was horrified I'd even consider putting mayo into her Tuna.
So she went to Gan today with raw canned Tuna in a container and bread on the side.
Oh said toddler also had a tantrum yesterday because she wanted to breastfeed the baby.

He decided that I "opened a Walmart box without him"
I haven't the faintest clue what he is referring to, as I didn't open any boxes, and don't have any Walmart boxes at home..

This is making me feel so much better as my 2 year old has been LOOSING it recently, unfortunately last one was in public. I end up just stopping and staring him cause I just know he will pass out after a 15 minute scream fest and no amount of soothing will work. I'm just cringing at what people think.

I love this thread!
Stuck his head in the shower when it was running to warm up (no one was in yet) because he was reaching in for his bath toys. Then was upset when he had to be changed out of his wet clothes and couldn’t take a bath.
