Handing in my resignation
Supervisor, please confirm
Not just a sunny vacation
Something rather more long term
Role exceeds my skills and training
Way beyond what I'd imagined
Always pours, it's never raining
Needing massive grit and passion.
Can't be sure what I was thinking
Eager recruit, sounded great
Now my ship is slowly sinking
Feel like I swallowed the bait.
"Rewarding! Challenging!" they touted
I suspect they're in a cult
Their ploy, I think, has now been outed—
I QUIT from being an adult.

OMG I feel like you!!! I told my hsband today I am quitting even ready to downgrade to smaller pay and onger hours
