I'd really love to get away with my DH for a Shabbaton.

I hear about so many varied types of Shabbatons, all geared for different types of people.

atime, Chai Lifeline, etc for people going through that

Torah Umesorah, Aguda Convention for rich or well connected people Wink

single Shabbatons, Lechu V'nelcha...

R' Elefants for his yeshiva

etc etc etc.

I'd love to join a Shabbaton but am not looking to spend 3k on it. Maybe maybe maybe 1k. Something like Project Inspire would be amazing, but that would cost minimum 2200 for a couple for Shabbos.

Does anyone have any ideas/know of any nice Shabbatons that won't break the bank?

Thank you so much!!

Adding in that we're yeshivish.

Would love to go somewhere that has inspiring speakers, good food, and lots of nice people, if there are any options I can afford.

At the atime shabbaton last week one of the speakers mentioned (as a joke) that there should be a shabbaton for the people who don’t fit into any other shabbaton.
It was obviously a joke, thank Hashem that you do not need to be part of any of the organizations you listed.

Just saw this advertised for 999 a couple. Not sure it's a shabbaton. More and organized weekend I think but might work for you

Everyone can use chizzuk for their own lives.

I would also love a Shabbos of chizzuk, but won’t leave my kids for Shabbos.

So I guess you want a free shabbaton?
Thank hashem you're not eligible for that.
There are inspiring shabbatons open to the public, but of course they need to charge for it.

She said she wanted to spend $1,000. Doesn't sound like a free Shabbaton to me.

She just didn't want top luxury ($2-$3K) but with the inspiration.

I understand
But the way you wrote it might be very hurtful to others who do need these shabbatons
I have personally been part of quite a few of the organizations you listed.

That;s not what I said.

I said I'd love to go to a nice Shabbaton and am asking if anyone knows of any that are more affordable.

She never said that anywhere.

And yes ppl need inspiration in their lives for a variety of reasons. You don’t know op at all Or her life or struggles. How do you know what she needs in her life.

I don’t understand the attacks on her for asking for an inspiring getaway she can afford.

(I personally have never been to a Shabbat on in a hotel. I watch tons of ppl going for variety of reasons. Rabbanim. Teachers. Rebbes. Ppl involved in Kiruv, Etc. and I often watch their kids When they go. I’m guessing it is nice to have a burst of inspiration in your life and it would help)

Embassy Suites is usually just that frum pple rent rooms that are suites there and bring their own food. They have warmers that you could put your food in and there is a minyan. But no entertainment/speakers.

Wow, that's cool! It would be 1600 for a couple, which I guess is the lowest I'll find.

That looks really nice- thank you!
