Dear MIl,
You always are the best at giving very generous gifts, bur not always gifts I want.
I would LOVE a a gift of going to a steakhouse with dh for our upcoming anniversary. We never ever go out to eat and it would be the biggest treat. A night out with dh, at an expensive steakhouse.
I always appreciate you and your gifts, bc I know it’s the thought that counts. But if you needed an idea for this years anniversary… here it is!
