Thinking of going to Teaneck area for a change of pace for two days with kids 3-16. What are good indoor things to do that can satisfy all ages? Best places to eat? Also are all hechsherim equal? We only keep cholov yisroel and are yeshivish, which hechsherim are usually good for that or it’s all the same? Any hotels within a half an hour of the frum areas that has suites? Are all the surrounding areas safe or should we avoid any hotel wise? Any tips would be appreciated! ( also been to American dream a few times so looking for other things to do )

If you keep cholov yisroel make sure it says so on the hechsher.
Many dairy places in Teaneck are not cholov yisroel

Avoid Paterson and newark/east orange areas in terms of safety. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Rcbc and pck are reliable hechsherim (check for cholov yisrael for dairy places).

99.9% of restaurants are under RCBC but as CY is not widely accepted in this years many restaurants are not CY. Be sure to ask or call again

American Dream mall is about 15 minutes drive. Haven't been in a couple of years so I'm not sure what's current but should be some kosher places there.

What kind of activities are you looking for? We have a lot of restaurants, malls, indoor play spaces, near American Dream, Liberty Science Center, really close to Manhattan.

Neither of those are so close to Teaneck, they’re closer to Passaic area.

Definitely not true. Mocha Bleu, Sammy’s, La cucina di Nava, lazy bean, and other places were definitely CY last time I checked

Estihana is a great Asian restaurant. Delicious food! Well priced! Heimish hechsher

Sammy’s is def not cholov yisroel and no place is yoshon so I personally can’t eat anywhere in Teaneck for half the year but maybe there are some cholov yosroel places
