Since when do frum stores offer a warranty (except for appliances)?

Frum stores may be mavinim on quality, but once its installed, youre on your own.

Have you ever heard of a frum store taking blame/responsibility for anything bought for a house, besides appliances, in which case the manufacturer gives a one year warranty, and then you have the option of paying for an additional warranty?

That makes sense. White grout is the worst to maintain.

But all those white marble look tiles that everone sells and buys, what color grout do they use?

Cant the grout thats used on parquet tiles, be the same color as the grain, and not white, the background of the tile?

OP - yes you can buy tiles from home Depot and you'll be fine as long as installer is good. What you are looking for is wood look tiles. You can match the grout to the darkest colors in the tile for more practicality, but don't go darker than that.

As some one who works in the construction business ( I work for a large door company) NO ONE will give you any warranty for anything once it is installed. Once anything is delivered, inspected and signed for no one will give any warranty and I dont know why it is even expected.

Shout out to Ace flooring from Monsey who stood behind the LVP they installed for us! They reinstalled a different product 3 years later because the first one was bad news.

I think you mean Chevron (zig zag) design is geometric. To me, Parquet only means tiles with a wood grain.

This might mean some definition that is unique to the frum world Very Happy

Parquet is a pattern in which wood is installed - typically geometric squares

Wood patterned tiles are wood patterned tiles and can be installed as regular planks set by side or in a parquet PATTERN.

This is also true of hardwood which can be installed with the planks running side by side or in a more elaborate design.

Parquet floors are typically wood historically but they can be porcelain tile like these

They go back in time and were considered to be the height of elegance - especially the more elaborate one as they required skilled artisans

They began selling pre-fabricated wood that be laid down easily and so a lot of relatively cheap floors had this kind of wood parquet. My parents installed this style when they retired to a condo but their home which was older had parquet floors that had been installed by artisans prior to WW I and was more elaborate design
