Same here in Manchester. He still came home around hour and half after Shabbos came in.
ETA: I wasn't fasting. No idea if he rushed home quicker or not than usual.

Yeah, I think it's supposed to average out to about once a decade. The 2010s were a very weird decade- every single year started on a Monday or Thursday for a straight ten years. So right now seems to be catchup- 3/5 years with Friday 10 Tevet, twice in those five years Miketz got its own haftara (I.e. not on Chanuka), and Yerushalayim is getting its second Purim Meshulash in the same five years where the previous one was in the 00's and the next in about twenty years.
