Hi 👋 I'm planning a vacation for just my husband and I to visit the grand canyon and nearby national parks this spring. Coming from Florida I know very little about the surrounding Jewish area, and was hoping to find out if there are any resources for kosher food, best lodging, best airport to fly into, etc.... If anyone has done this type of vacation before I'd love your input! Thanks!

Here's some ideas of other georgeous spots in driving distance
- lake Powell
- horseshoe bend
The following are in Utah but you can drive over
- Bryce canyon
- Zion national park
I don't recommend skipping any of the above!!
Regarding kosher food it depends what airport your flying to and city you go through first

The Grand Canyon is Beautiful. The closest Jewish community is in Flagstaff about an hour and a half away. They have an amazing Chabad house. We stayed there over Shabbos. They should have food Catering.
We flew in to Phoenix and traveled up by car because there are the most and cheapest flights from there. (its a 4 hour drive to GC) There is plenty of kosher food and restaurants there. You can stock up.
On the way up we passed Sedona, its another not to miss stunning place. You can sleep there, just take a hike, or drive through depending on how much time you have. There is a chabad there and they have food only certain times of the year.
