The title of this thread post is unfortunate.
If someone chooses to wear a long coat, they do not deserve to have any number of people teaming up to slight them as individuals.

Get another longer coat too. Unless you drive everywhere.

I've literally been seeing every length coat from really short to long.
The only dorky costs ive seen is the one that looks like a puffer by chest and then tight knit like material to high waist. On skinny women its not tznius and they are shivering and fat girls wearing it lets say its pretty unflattering.
Please get yourself a cute long coat and stay warm.
...two way zippers are awesome for when need to sit down

I don’t know what length of coat is or isn’t dorky….
But what is definitely dorky is being cold.

Short puffers are a lot more stylish than long ones. But they don't work for all types of weather, so if you have a fashionable short coat, you probably also need a functional long one for the polar vortexes and winter storms.
I've been shopping around for a new long parka today myself.

I’m almost 60 and I am not at all ashamed. Some of the posters here speak of that age as if it were a curse or a terrible state. I wish you all the power, success, and freedom that this age has brought me. Wear a beautiful long cashmere coat like mine. Wear a short puffer coat and freeze in the name of perceived fashion. Heck, wear no coat if you want. Many of us are fashionable and I say Gay Gezunteheit to those who wear what they like. Please don’t disparage “older” women like the mothers and bubbies who loved and raised you. That’s not becoming for bnos Yisroel!

I was recently in Williamsburg and saw tons of fashionable women of all ages in long coats.
could hardly call them dorky...
