How much do you and your husband come in with a year and do you feel it’s enough to keep you going like you get the groceries you need you pay the bills the credit cards are always in check ? Etc

I will say this: whatever income level we were at we made it work to be able to pay our bills and everything. At $45000, $75,000, $150,000...

Sometimes it takes extra work and you have to get creative.

$350k but like the other poster said we also covered our bills at $80k, $180k, etc. As our family and expenses have grown, our income has BH grown.

Combined $500. He makes most of it. Believe it or not , it’s not as much as it sounds . Our taxes are through the roof and our expenses are crazy high

With a bunch of kids, this is not that much. More than half of it goes to mortgage and tuition. Bh we make it work. We've also made it work when it was $50k or $70k or $100k.

yes we max out a Roth IRA each year, plus we have a 401k from an old job I had that we rolled over that we are currently not adding to, but it's growing.

Married 12 years with 4 kids.

2 years ago we made around 300k combined and we were really comfortable.

This past year we made 210k combined and felt choked. Hoping things get better, this economy is a killer.

Yes we do. We make it a priority to invest at least 5k a year each for retirement. We also happen to have investments (for emergencies) that are mostly family gifts over the years.
Eta we also put money in our kids 529 yearly.

We make about $150 together and it does not feel like a lot. Especially as the kids are getting older and have more expensive needs. 5 kids, OOT.

Lol sounds like a rich mans club here im not even answering ops question.

No we have not put money in savings in long time but bh what ever is there is still there and hasnt gone anywhere.
Our hands are tied right now worrying about retirement certainly wont get us anywhere besides developing severe depression and anxiety
