I’m making tacos for dinner. DH accidentally used my avocados to make everyone breakfast. I don’t have time to switch the dinner menu. Where can I get ripe, ready to eat avocados?

Sometimes when I’m in this situation I buy ready made guacamole from the grocery. Not as good as homemade but it works for us

...its freezing outside. They had their avocado for breakfast. As a mother I tink better lesson would be if there is no guacamole than if I run around to find some.
And if they wont eat so be it there is cereal and milk or pb&j

I've been where OP is...
Sometimes, I'm not in the mood of teaching lessons. I want my kids to eat, without complaining, going along the path of least resistance.

My family loves taco night. I don’t do it often but when I do, I put in the effort to do it well. They would be so upset if they didn’t have the guacamole.
It was a mistake on DH’s end, and in all likelihood, he’s the one that going to go around looking for avocados. It’s fine. These things happen. It’s a minor annoyance that will be forgotten by everyone by tomorrow

The store across the road from ShopRite. You have to be careful when buying fruits from there because they’re often from Israel
